15B FB Insights

FB Insights Page Summary

Looking at the page summary the overall picture is that there was decline in the overall number of people reached and engaged.  It looks like two more likes occurred than in the previous week but fewer people reached.

 FB Post Analysis  4.13-5.01

The largest engagement and reach was achieved on 4.30.17 with a post that was initiated on Instagram with a call to action to register for one of the upcoming Cats on Mats Yoga Events in May.  Prior to that the most successful post was on 4.26.17 with another post initiated on Instagram.  The obvious success of the Instagram posts brought my attention to the fact that my most recent Instagram posts had not carried through to my FB business page which led me to investigate and discover that they had reverted to landing on my personal timeline instead.  I'm not sure why that happened but I have now adjusted the Instagram account link back to my business page.  It looks like article shares from FB perform poorly and are not seen by anyone.  Posts originating from Instagram appear to perform the best.

FB People Who Like Your Page

The largest demographic following my page are women in the 35-44 age range.  Most followers are from San Diego with a spattering around the county and southern California.  This shows me that my organic target market seems to be the female 35-44 age range or that this is the demographic engaging with the social media platforms that I am using the most.  I do now that my older clientele are not as engaged with FB or Instagram.

 FB Insight Overview

This table again shows me that my posts from Instagram did not land on the business page this week and that the pictures and post I made in an upcoming event invite do not register as posts according to the Insight analytics.
